Schedules are used to plan what, where and when media is played. For example, you can schedule Morning media to play at 10am daily across classrooms.
To set up a new schedule
Click on the New Schedule button found on the Schedules main page.
You will now be presented with eight options:
The name of the schedule.
You can select a single piece of media or playlist for this schedule.
Select Signage Groups
Choose to play the content in one room or a Signage Group.
Schedule the date on which the media will play.
Schedule the time at which the media will play. You can also set the content to loop (play repeatedly).
If you choose to loop your content, you will need to set a finish time here.
Is Active Tick Box. (automatically ticked)
This needs to be ticked for the schedule to play at the allotted time otherwise it will stay inactive.
If you wish to schedule the playlist to broadcast regularly, set the schedule for a daily, weekly or fortnightly repeat.
Once you have configured the above and are ready to go, click the Create Schedule button.
To edit a schedule
On the Schedule main page, click the Edit button next to the corresponding schedule. You can now edit all the details of the schedule and turn it off.
To turn off a schedule but not delete it
On the Schedule main page, click the Edit button next to the corresponding schedule. Under the Details heading, untick the Is Active tick box.
To delete a schedule
On the Schedule main page, click the Dlete button next to the corresponding schedule. This will delete the schedule but not any media or playlist associated with it.
